So back in January, I enquired with my instructors on availability to do my big girl bike test. (The modules) My instructors advised that I would need to do a big bike day so they could see how prepared I was and my ability to ride a bigger bike.
I was soooo excited last night but terrified at the same time, you know the feeling when you think that everything will go wring and you'll wheelie the bike because you're only used to the 125cc throttle... yep my brain just kept on thinking about the bad bits.
Anyway, the morning had arrived and it's safe to say, I was bricking it. Made my way to my instructor's house where I was presented with a Yamaha MT07.
Nerves were kicking in but I was greeted by Sue, my instructor, and Martin, who was going to be my instructor for the day.
So off we went ................................................ I couldn't believe how easy it was to ride the bigger bike, you automatically felt more stable and solid when riding. It just felt better than the 125 in general, it actually felt safer.
The day went so so fast...... Martin was an amazing instructor, very approachable and a genuinely nice guy. When we got back I was told that I was ready for my modules and the training for them. So, Sue gave me a card with 4 dates on it.
14th May - Mod 1 Training
17th May - Mod 2 Training
18th May - Mod 1 Test
19th May - Mod 2 Test
OMG OMG OMG!!!
